Build Check Pro provides construction inspections, project reviews, reporting, and related consulting services based on visual observations, documentation review, and information reasonably available at the time of service.

A. Scope Limitation

All inspections and construction reviews:

  • Are limited to the specific scope agreed upon in writing

  • Are based on conditions observable at the time of inspection

  • Do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or certification of future performance

  • Do not ensure compliance with all building codes unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

  • Our reports reflect professional opinions based on industry standards and available information at the time of service.

B. No Warranty or Guarantee

Build Check Pro does not guarantee:

  • Future structural performance

  • Absence of hidden, latent, or concealed defects

  • Contractor performance

  • Code compliance unless specifically contracted

  • Inspections are not exhaustive and may not reveal all conditions.

C. Limitation of Liability (Inspection Services)

To the fullest extent permitted by law: The total aggregate liability of Build Check Pro, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates for any claim arising out of inspection services, construction reviews, reports, or related services shall not exceed: The total fee paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Under no circumstances shall Build Check Pro be liable for:

  • Consequential damages

  • Lost profits

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of opportunity

  • Punitive damages

  • Indirect or special damages


D. Time Limitation for Claims

Any claim arising from inspection or review services must be brought within one (1) year from the date of service, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

 

E. Reliance Limitation

Inspection reports and construction reviews are prepared solely for the client identified in the agreement. No third party may rely upon the report without prior written consent from Build Check Pro.

 

F. Software Platform Disclaimer

  • If you provide a reporting or project management software platform:

  • The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  • Users are responsible for maintaining backup copies of data.

  • We are not responsible for data loss beyond our reasonable control.
